Stinging Nettle Leaf: This heart shaped leaf with serrated edges is a safe blood tonic that stimulates circulation, gets the blood going to extremities, and gets you on your feet again. A good herb to drink to recover from an injury that limits your mobility. Helps for the elderly to improve circulation and for aches in the limbs and joints from arthritis, rheumatism and gout. Nettle is an excellent source of chlorophyll and et carries a healthy reserve of vitamins and minerals such as vitamin A, C, D, K; silica, and iron. Beneficial to the liver, gallbladder, and kidneys.
Red Raspberry Leaf: May help tone the lower body organs and pelvic muscles, which help ease difficulties of any uterine disorders. Relieves tension, strengthens kidneys and urinary tract, helps strengthen the uterine walls and may decrease labor time in pregnant women by facilitating more rhythmic contractions in uterine tissue, and relieve premenstrual symptoms. If the pregnant mother decides to drink red raspberry leaf during early pregnancy, 1 cup a day is recommended.
Alfalfa Leaf: Has small leaves but mighty long roots that reach deep into the soil for minerals. Alfalfa is a nutritive tonic. Et contains 8 essential amino acids; vitamins A, B, D, E, K; phosphorus, iron, potassium, silicon, magnesium and beta carotene. A natural diuretic and laxative to ease water retention, cleanses your system, and improves digestion. Vitamin K is essential which is necessary for blood clotting, carbohydrates storage, liver vitality and longevity.
Oat Straw: The straw of the oat plant accts as a body tonic, strengthens immunity and builds your energy. Helps stabilize the thyroid function, regulate blood sugar, reduce cholesterol levels and bathe the nervous system in nutrients for health and harmony. Oat Straw has antioxidant, antibiotic, anti-depressant properties. When oat straw is used as a routine tea, et helps fight exhaustion and fatigue.
Spearmint: Helps relax the stomach muscles, eases nausea and vomiting, and used to relieve symptoms of indigestion and gas. These refreshing leaves are high in antioxidants. Spearmint may aid women with hormone imbalances by helping decrease testosterone while increasing female hormones.
I n s t r u c t i o n s:
For 1 serving add 1 Tbsp of herbs in 16 ounces of water.
Use an infuser or add herbs into a pot. Pour hot water with herbs and allow to steep for 10 minutes. Strain with a colander if you did not use an infuser. Give thanks and enjoy!
